Sure it'll never replace the feeling of a LIVE Corporate Comedy show... but it sure does feel great to share some laughs virtually. There's still the chance to hear others chuckling, giggling, guffawing (and sometimes snorting!). And Zoom does offer the chance to see some of the friendly faces smiling back and enjoying the show. Even if that six or eight are only a fraction of the audience.
I can't wait to be back in front of a LIVE audience at Corporate Comedy shows, a Business Conference or even a smelly Comedy Club. But I'm thankful technology (Zoom, et. al) have allowed me to perform and keep my craft alive.
Being a Corporate Comedian is not what it was six months ago. But what is?
Thanks to NCAN for letting me feel a slice of normalcy. Even if it was different.
